After talking online Connie and Lakhyeon met in October 2015. Connie was teaching English in Ulsan and Lakhyeon was a student in Daegu. In 2017 they decided enough was enough and Connie started teaching in Daegu.

Connie moved back to the US in 2023 after 9 years in Korea. After a year and a half of long-distance Connie and Lakhyeon decided it was the right time to get hitched!
