A commitment ceremony is not legally binding like a marriage, but is a way of publicly affirming our love and dedication to each other as a couple. We want to be married "in the eyes of God" but have reasons why a legal marriage is not a good option for us. We want an opportunity to celebrate our love with our family and friends and make vows to each other in a religious ceremony.
