Q + A

Wait a minute....is there a "ceremony"?

Nope! We have the legalities taken care of and are inviting you to the best part - The party!! You are invited to be there just to celebrate. Relax, and enjoy.

Do I need to have my own camping gear to go to Madison?

Yes. Amenities for the campground are listed on its website: https://www.yellowstonenationalparklodges.com/lodgings/campground/madison-campground

Do I need to reserve my own campsite at Madison?

Ideally, yes, however we have reserved a few sites in our name because we don't want anyone to miss out! If you cannot get a reservation, please let us know and we will see how many slots we have left. Keep in mind you may have to share the site with some of our other guests in this scenario. We will try and pair up folks who know each other and help coordinate for folks who are only there part of the time. Reservations can be made at this website: https://www.yellowstonenationalparklodges.com/stay/camping/

Which events have food and beverages provided?

We will provide all food and beverages for the Celebration on Sept 14, to include beer and wine. For the meet and greet at the city park in Bozeman, Sept 13, we plan to provide non-alcoholic beverages but you are welcome to bring your favorite drinks or snacks if you'd like. We will have a cooler on site to store them while you are with us. Feel free to bring a picnic dinner if you want. That is probably how we will roll that evening. While camping, it is every person for themselves! However, there are fire pits with grill grates on site and we will have a several extra camp stoves folks can borrow.

Is there a rain plan?

The venue for the Celebration September 14th has indoor space for us all. For the social at the park Friday September 13, there is a covered picnic area and we will have a pop up tent next to it so don't be scared of the rain! For the camping - it's camping! Suck it up!

What airport should I fly into?

For most of you, Bozeman, Montana's airport (BZN) will work best. It is also possible to fly into Jackson Hole, WY if you wanted to drive up through Grand Teton and Yellowstone on your way to the wedding and enjoy the parks for a couple days on your way in.

Where are you guys staying in Bozeman?

We are staying at the AC Marriott in downtown Bozeman. From there we can walk to the park for the picnic and the couple of sky bars in Bozeman for nightcaps with you all. HOWEVER, Bozeman has a huge range of prices on hotels so folks can find something that fits their wallets. Downtown is about 15-20 minutes from the Saturday night celebration venue by car. The celebration site is near the Four Corners area of town, if that helps for planning hotels.
