I LOVE YOU FOREVER

Our story started when I said yes to a long-term kindergarten sub position that just quite simply did not fit with my busy schedule. Something in me said just take it and see where this goes. On day one I learned all the ropes of the classroom and happened to meet the PE teacher (Connor). For two weeks Connor asked the students at lunch what my name was trying to figure out who I was and where I came from. For the remainder of the month, we both watched from afar the interactions conversations, and actions of the other. I watched Connor execute a big event (field day) flawlessly and Connor being quite the gentleman offered to help me put away the classroom. It all started with a crooked lampshade and both of us genuinely just wanted to get to know one another better. Our first date was June 5th a trip to get iced coffee. After that, we spent practically every second of that first summer together (summer 2022). The summer consisted of bible study, swimming, watching softball and lacrosse games, receiving job offers, Kings Island visits, going on fun date nights and so much more! I started my first grade teaching job and Connor was the most supportive a person could be. It was a long first year with a lot of learning and late nights. Connor was such a good sport even spending weekends helping me prep items for the next week. We took a trip to Chicago that winter and it was so much fun! It was a secure feeling to realize we had both found our person. We enjoyed a Cody Johnson concert, the Bean, Chicago pizza, shopping, and all the city had to offer. The fun didn't end there we enjoyed our first holiday season together attending each family's gatherings together. The school year flew by and we soaked in the next summer a bit more. Spending intentional quality time that even got to include a beach trip. Our trip was the perfect week with lots of fun excursions an aquarium visit with penguins, horseback riding, and the best dinner dates. We began future planning and our conversations always had each other in them. Beginning to experience all the ins and outs of life together we had more serious conversations about moving on to the next step. Christmas eve eve December 23rd we took a trip to Carillon Park with my family. With the incredible effort and hard work of quite a few individuals, he had the sweetest proposal idea executed. Surrounded by all the lights of the beautiful Carillon Bridge he asked me to spend the rest of forever with him. I was so surprised and absolutely overjoyed. We are so excited and can't wait to spend every day together for the rest of our lives. We are thankful God crossed our paths when he did. We are counting down the days and can't wait to continue building our lives together.
