In the thick of COVID, 2020, we were both living with our parents, trying to make the most of a very difficult time in most everyone's lives. Margo was up in Milwaukee visiting her sister and her family for Labor Day. She was watching church with her family and her eyes stumbled across a good-looking guitar player who caught her attention almost immediately. She asked her brother-in-law, "Who is that?", and the rest is history.

We connected shortly after and talked non-stop until finally meeting one another in late October, 2020. On our first date, we carved pumpkins, hiked at 7 Bridges Park on the Lakefront, and ate spicy cheese curds at Stackd' Burger Bar. The weekend visit ended with Margo watching Connor play guitar at church.

Though 2020 didn't seem like the most opportune time to get to know a complete stranger who lives 6.5 hours away, we continued to make the most of our situation. God opened up many opportunities that most couples do not have in their relationships. Through the time we dated long-distance, we were blessed with the opportunity to not only spend lots of quality time together, but with each-other's families. Thanks to low gas prices, caffeine, and the sheer desire to see one another, we were able to spend time with one another just about every 2-3 weeks. By God's grace, we only ever ran into car issues once, driving to a Purdue/Wisconsin Football game. (ask one of us, or our parents about this story, since we laugh about it now.)

A little over a year later, Connor moved to Carmel, IN, just 20 minutes away from Margo. Since then, we have experienced plenty of life together and have made endless memories. Some of our favorites being long bike trips on the Monon, making homemade pizzas and taking Margo's family dog, Indy, out for walks.

Now we embark on a new adventure in 2024 and will be getting married with God, our families and friends as witnesses. It is a joy and an honor share our day with all the people we love, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you.
