We love living in Washington DC! There are so many places to visit and good food to eat. Here are some suggestions for out-of-town guests.

A very DC event that you can take advantage of before the wedding is the EU Embassy Open House. Free entry to a number of different countries embassies, but the lines can get long for more popular countries, and the ones giving out free food and drink, so go early!

Visit the White House (it is within walking distance of the Madison)

Visit one of the Smithsonian Museums! While all SAAM museums are great, and free, the National Portrait Gallery and the Museum of Natural History are two of our favorites! The National Zoo is also amazing.

Visit the National Mall to visit the monuments and also where we met playing kickball.
