Connor and Kally met in Kally's last year of college and immediately started talking. On Connor's way to the Des Moines airport on a Tuesday morning, he decided to see if Kally wanted to go on a date, and although she was sick, she skipped class and went on the date anyway, thank goodness she did. After that they were pretty much inseparable even though they were an hour and a half away from each other and living in two different cities. However, the distance didn't matter because, on December 8th, 2023, Connor asked Kally to be his girlfriend!

Like any good love story, there was a catch: Connor was being deployed a little over a month after they started dating to Guam. This was going to be a challenge as a new couple, but the 3 months flew by and made them much stronger because of it! Fast forward to the summer of 2024; after picking out a ring and keeping it a secret, Connor planned a picnic for just the two of them before he left for a week-long fishing trip to Canada. Little did Kally know, he was going to propose that night! This night quickly became the best night of both of their lives!

Many memories have been made between the two and they couldn't be happier to be getting married and spending the rest of their lives together. They are so excited for their wedding and cannot wait to celebrate with everyone!
