Castello di Petrata is located in the region of Umbria, bordering Tuscany. The Castello is perched up in the hills just outside the town of Assisi.

The Castello is about a 2 hour drive from either Rome or Florence. Rome will likely offer more flight options and more affordable flights.

There are trains that run from both Rome and Florence to Assisi. The train station in town is about a 15 minute drive from the Castello, and taxis are available.

We will be organizing transportation leaving from the "Roma Termini" central train station in from Rome at 1PM on Friday for folks who will be in by then.

If you are planning on meeting us at the villa, the rooms will be ready by 3pm. However, if you wish to arrive earlier (not before 1pm) they are available to welcome you, there will be a room where you can leave your luggage, the bar and restaurant will be open.
