It all started with a swipe…

Connor and I met on Hinge back in November of 2021. I played it cool (okay… maybe a little too cool) and kept Connor waiting a little over 3 months before finally agreeing to meet in person. But from the moment we did, we both felt something different—something special.

Connor had this warmth to him—calming, kind, and incredibly inviting. Our first "date" wasn’t exactly traditional... I invited him to a distant friend's birthday event, and he came down to Ventura alone, taking a risk not knowing anyone, but still all in. That small gesture spoke volumes. He wasn’t just charming and—let’s be honest—very attractive; he was also incredibly genuine.

That day, something just clicked. I found myself wanting to know him more, to understand what made this guy with the easy smile and steady presence so magnetic. Connor made me feel instantly comfortable, even when surrounded by his large group of friends. It was clear right away: this wasn’t just a fleeting connection—it was the start of something real.

And then came the adventure.

Within a few days of meeting, Connor invited me on a trip to Big Sur—somewhere I had always wanted to go. It was the perfect first getaway. We laughed until our cheeks hurt, took in the breathtaking views, and bonded over a shared sense of curiosity and joy. There was even a moment of chaos when climbing some rocks on a beach hike and I nearly got swept out by the high tide, but even that became one of our favorite memories.

From that point on, we were inseparable. We explored every corner of Santa Barbara and beyond—road trips, concerts, off-roading adventures, and camping under the stars. Eventually, we built a home together in Summerland, CA, adopted two mischievous kittens, and filled our life with cozy mornings, spontaneous trips, and so much laughter.

Then came the biggest adventure yet…

While on a family trip to Kauai with Connor’s family, we hiked the Sleeping Giant trail. At the top, surrounded by lush mountains and endless sky, Connor proposed. It was completely unexpected, absolutely beautiful, and everything we could’ve dreamed of. It felt perfectly us—outdoors, peaceful, a little wild, and full of love.

Now we’re getting married (!!) in our new home state, Colorado, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most. Thank you for being part of our story—we’re so excited to share this moment with you.
