Isabelle is Olivia’s younger sister by three years—but more importantly, she’s her very best friend. The two are incredibly close and have shared just about everything over the years—from bedrooms (yes, even the same bed one summer!) to wine nights, true crime marathons, and countless hours of conversation that never seem to run out of steam. Living in Gainesville together has been one of the sweetest chapters in their sisterhood, especially as they both wrap up their degrees—Isabelle finishing her undergrad just as Olivia finishes law school. She’s smart, hilarious, endlessly supportive, and the ultimate partner-in-crime. Olivia couldn’t imagine this day without her sweet little sis by her side.

Isabelle Potthast

Brendan is Connor's older brother by six years. He has served as a role model for Connor throughout his childhood. From teaching Connor hockey skills, pushing him in his academics to become a Double Gator, and helping him turn into a classy gentlemen who could attract Olivia, Connor (and Olivia) is grateful for the impact Brendan has had on him! As Brendan embarks on his next chapter as husband to Carli and father to Trevor, Brendan embodies what it means to be a family man, and Connor is grateful to learn from Brendan's successes and to have been officially made a "fun uncle." 

Brendan Nicholson

Kelsea is Olivia’s older cousin (their dads are brothers!) and one of her lifelong partners in fun. Growing up, they were inseparable—spending hours with Kelsea’s legendary Polly Pocket collection and putting on dance performances during commercial breaks of their dads’ favorite sports games.
Their bond only grew stronger when they both attended the University of Florida and joined the same sorority. From football games to formals, they were double trouble in the best way—and made the most of every moment. Kelsea just got married this past May, and Olivia loved being a part of her big day. Now it’s Olivia’s turn, and she couldn’t be happier to have Kelsea by her side. One thing’s for sure: you’ll definitely spot her on the dance floor!

Kelsea Weldon

Mitchell is Connor’s cousin from Canada, and the two have always shared a special bond—especially during summers spent at the family cottage in beautiful Lake Clear, Ontario. Whether they’re swimming with swimsuits, playing pickleball, or eating hibachi and drinking Ichibans, Connor and Mitch(y) are always up for a good time together, whether they're in the deep south or the great white north. With Mitchell being a few years older than Connor and having incredible style and haircuts while growing up, he served as a role model for Connor that contributed to Connor's appearance and helped give Connor the confidence and style he needed to attract Olivia. Connor is grateful to have Mitchell in Florida for all the festivities, where he will quickly learn that "it just means more in the South."     

Mitchell Robinson

Kelly is Connor’s older sister (and Brendan’s twin) and someone Olivia deeply admires. She’s currently finishing up her residency at Shands in Gainesville, which means Olivia gets to enjoy having her nearby—especially for cat visits and quality catch-ups. Kelly is incredibly hardworking, balancing the demands of medical school and residency while still making time for friends and family. One of Olivia’s favorite memories with Kelly was her epic medical school graduation celebration—a multi-day extravaganza filled with beach days, boat rides, and a trolley party. She brings the perfect mix of brains, fun, and heart, and Olivia is so grateful to have her as a sister-in-law and bridesmaid.

Kelly Nicholson

Will and Connor have been great friends since their childhood days in Lakewood Ranch. Even though they've never attended the same school or college, their friendship has never wavered. Will is someone Connor has always been inspired by—not just for his loyalty, but for his strong faith in Jesus and his kind heart. By showing the joys of a life in Christ, Connor has lived a better life and has been filled with inspiration to spread the good word as he works to lead his family on a path to Heaven. After graduating with his MBA and working in service, Will has returned to Florida to begin his career as a businessman. With Will back in the great state of Florida, this provides more time for pool days and grilling out.

Will Diesel 

Carli is Brendan’s wife and Olivia’s soon-to-be sister-in-law, but from the very start, she’s felt like family. Olivia admires Carli’s incredibly sweet nature and how effortlessly kind and thoughtful she is. She’s the kind of person who makes everyone feel special—always genuinely curious, always asking thoughtful questions, and always ready to listen. Carli has been Olivia’s go-to for all things wedding planning—offering advice, support, and encouragement every step of the way. Recently, Carli and Brendan welcomed the sweetest baby boy, Trevor James Nicholson, who the whole family absolutely adores. Olivia feels so lucky to call Carli both a bridesmaid and a sister.

Carli Nicholson

Patrick and Connor have been friends since their days growing up in Lakewood Ranch, bonding over years of playing hockey and earning state championships together. Even though Patrick is a grade ahead, he’s always been a loyal friend and teammate. Over the years, Patrick and his girlfriend, Aliza, have become great double-date friends to Connor and Olivia. From dinners and drinks during holiday visits to showing them around their life outside of Florida, Patrick has always made them feel welcome. He recently moved to Chicago, but no matter the distance, the friendship has remained strong. Connor is grateful to have him by his side on this special day.

Patrick Kenefick 

Olivia and Mel met during their freshman year at UF, living in dorm buildings right next to each other and joining the same sorority. They clicked instantly—and from that moment on, shared everything from chapter meetings and formals to long walks, late-night meals, and wine nights (preferably with a good cabernet in hand). Their bond only deepened after college. Whether it’s weekends on Mel’s boat in St. Pete or catching up over new restaurants in Gainesville, Olivia treasures every moment they spend together. She deeply admires Mel’s adventurous spirit—during her gap year, she explored everywhere from Brazil to Italy, Japan to Australia—and her incredible drive, recently starting medical school. Mel is spontaneous, hardworking, and full of heart, and Olivia is so grateful to have her as a lifelong best friend and bridesmaid.

Melissa Filgueiras 

Cade and Connor have been friends since their days as hockey teammates growing up. Connor has always admired Cade’s adventurous spirit—especially when he and his wife, Sarah (who Connor also grew up with), got married in April 2024 and immediately set off to travel the world together, staying abroad for over a year! Connor had the honor of officiating their wedding, and now he’s thrilled to have Cade standing by his side for his own big day. With Cade back in the motherland after his extended honeymoon, Connor is blessed to have Cade around to inspire him to take chances and enjoy life for all its beauty.

Olivia and Noemi met freshman year at UF through Student Government, running for Senate seats in dorms right next to each other. From the start, their friendship was full of laughs, late-night chats, and a few hilarious moments—like accidentally cramming all their constituency requirements into one day (a wild rush!) and self-tanning before Senate meetings as a form of pre-meeting prep.
Over the years, their friendship has only grown stronger—bonding over acai bowls, hot girl walks, and all the highs and lows of college life and beyond. Olivia and Connor actually set Noemi up with Quinn—Connor’s friend and now Noemi’s amazing boyfriend (and another groomsmen, up next!). Double dates are now a regular and much-loved occurrence.

Noemi Galeano

Connor met Quinn through the University of Florida hockey team, and the two quickly became great friends—bonding over sports, grilling, and planning what they like to call “rizzler weekends” for their amazing “WAGs” (wives and girlfriends--Olivia and Noemi). From rooftop drinks and beach getaways to ice skating and mountain escapes, they’re always scheming the next memorable double date. They also shared a very unique college housing experience—living together in the infamous “dojo,” a house that instilled grit in the two that prepared them for the toughness it takes to win a National Championship. Quinn has been an inspiration to Connor through his strong work ethic on his pursuit of becoming an elite Doctor and through his ability to make time for the things that matter in life.   

Quinn Shepherd

Olivia and Gerrica’s friendship began with a Facebook message—when they were both searching for freshman year roommates. After sliding into Gerrica’s DMs, Olivia knew right away they had to live together. They ended up in what was arguably the most questionable dorm on campus, practically sharing a closet-sized room—but somehow never once got tired of each other. Their only “argument”? Who got to refill the Brita for the other person. Their freshman year was full of wild nights—some literally spent on the dorm room floor. But even more meaningful than those memories has been how much they’ve grown together. Gerrica and Olivia continue to have deep, honest conversations about faith, family, relationships, and everything in between. They constantly push each other to grow emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Gerrica is one of the most driven, grounded, and talented people Olivia knows, and she’s so thankful to have her as a lifelong friend and bridesmaid.

Gerrica Lamothe 

Birkie and Connor met through the University of Florida hockey team and quickly became close friends. Originally from Siberia, Russia, Birkie brought talent and personality to the group as he assimilated into American culture. As the two became roommates, they shared much of their time together between rollerblading sessions, building villages, and playing puck. As two became executive board members of the UF Hockey Club, they had the joy of navigating the chaos of their fellow hockey teammates through shared survival stories. Olivia reflects on her first time meeting Birkie-- Olivia had invited Connor on her sorority date function, and it turned out that Birkie had been invited to the same event with a friend of Olivia's. Despite getting in scooter crash on his way to the event, Birkie, unphased, showed up covered in blood and left a memorable impression on all those who attended the event.

Olivia met Cam Cam on the very first day of law school when they sat next to each other in Contracts—and from that moment on, a wonderful friendship was born. Along with DT and three of the ushers, they quickly formed a tight-knit crew that’s been inseparable ever since. Cam Cam is the kind of friend who always brings joy to your day—whether it’s sharing her candy stash, offering to grab you a coffee on the way to class, or just being her bubbly, energetic self. One of Olivia’s favorite memories with Cam is from a cruise they went on together, where they shared a room and perfected the art of getting ready (the only casualty: a little spilled red wine). She’s also Olivia’s favorite beer ball rival—so guests, consider yourselves warned: there may be a rematch at the after-party.

Camryn Spector

Ethan is the amazing boyfriend of Olivia’s younger sister (and Maid of Honor), Isabelle. Over the years, Ethan has become such a natural part of the Potthast family—joining in on everything from game days to family dinners to double dates with Connor and Olivia. Ethan drove five hours to Columbia, South Carolina, to attend a family wedding right after graduating—proof of just how thoughtful and all-in he is. He also graciously hosted the Potthast girls during his summer internship in New York, turning a quick visit into a core memory.

Olivia and Jared became fast friends during their junior year of college while serving on the executive team for Homecoming and Gator Growl. The following year, Jared took on the role of Producer, and Olivia stood right by his side on his executive board—forming a dynamic duo that’s stuck ever since. As fate would have it, they also ended up in the same section of law school and had every single class together. Study sessions became a staple (though Olivia may have shared a few more notes than she received), and Jared’s constant encouragement reminded her to keep things light and enjoy the journey. Their bond only grew stronger through their shared involvement in Florida Blue Key, where they’ve continued to lead, grow, and support one another.

Will and Olivia became close through their law school friend group, and it wasn’t long before he and Connor quickly bonded over their mutual love of the gym—chest day being the undisputed favorite. Will is the kind of friend you can always count on—like the time he patiently drove Olivia to the car dealership to get her brake pads fixed (a place she absolutely dreads). Will is hilarious, fiercely competitive, and always up for a challenge—especially when it comes to games. He and Olivia are a legendary tag team (cough cough Beer Ball World Champs), and they’ll be looking to defend their title at the after-party. One of Will’s favorite memories? Definitely the cruise, where Olivia generously handed over all her dinner leftovers. So if you don’t plan on finishing your meat portion of the entrée at the wedding... Will would be happy to help you out.

William Hoffman 6'3 275 (bulking season) or 225 (cutting season)

Olivia met David through their law school friend group, and he quickly became one of her favorite people. Kind, cool, and effortlessly fun, David somehow always manages to be both the best-dressed guy in the room —ask him to take you thrifting. Beyond his great style, David has been an incredible study buddy and a huge help to Olivia on Law Review—especially when it came to the ever-confusing above-the-line footnote rules (true heroes wear cardigans).
He’s also known for his generosity and good vibes, like when he hosted a Gators basketball watch party that Olivia and Connor won’t forget—especially since Florida brought home the national championship that night.
