They were bound to run into each other at some point. She grew up best family friends with the Wislinsky’s, he played soccer and went to school with Ben until he (quite unfortunately) transferred to Regis. His best friend Ty became friends with Morgan at Stout, and Ty loves to take credit for introducing the two. To be fair, it’s probably true.

Connor spent the next few years in the friend zone until one fateful summer they agreed to try out a summer fling. It became a particularly long summer which included years of long-distance until she moved to Waukesha with him during PA school. After he graduated, they moved home while Morgan finished her Master’s program. They navigated another year of distance before settling in Eau Claire. Two became three with the addition of Noodle the long-haired, high-energy orange tabby.

On a New Years trip to Green Bay with Ben and Gilby to watch the Vikings stomp on the Packers (as Connor remembers it), he extended the weekend and rented a small rustic cabin in the middle of nowhere. He very sneakily fumbled with the ring box but thankfully Morgan pretended to remain oblivious and did an excellent job acting surprised. She says to this day that she knew it would happen, he politely disagrees.

Fast forward a year and a half and here we are, so excited to celebrate with our family and closest friends. We are so looking forward to sharing this special evening with you all.
