Connor and Valerie's relationship began in their strength and conditioning class, where they started chatting and getting to know each other. After hanging out a few times, Valerie found herself in need of a prom date. However, the night she gathered up the courage to ask Connor turned out to be the longest baseball game of the season. After 12 intense innings, Connor finally said yes.

Valerie quickly learned about baseball and discovered there was an abundance of games played during the summer. Although, she remains committed to the best game known to mankind—golf.

Connor got used to the crazy busy Gabel family and quickly learned how to hold small kids like Scarlett.

Prom date number two; this time Connor asked. :)

Connor and Valerie began going on adventures together and discovered a shared love for hiking.

Connor started college at Creighton, and that's when the rivalry began.

During the Christmas holiday, Connor and Valerie enjoyed a challenging 14-mile hike together in Arizona.

After dating for three years, Connor and Valerie enjoy spending time together. They frequently enjoy simple weekend dates at Sam's Club, where they go grocery shopping and also eat pizza.

Connor and Valerie discovered that Colorado had some fun hiking trails.

Valerie graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and couldn't have done it without Connor. Especially since many of their dates were spent at the library.

With their shared love of hiking, Connor found the perfect moment to ask Valerie while they were hiking in Colorado. Let's just say Valerie was shocked!

Connor graduated from Creighton and will cherish all the memories he made there.

Connor decided to pursue a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Texas. The decision to move strengthened their relationship and sparked excitement for the adventures to come.
