Our Wedding

Connor and I met at the Lake of the Ozarks during the summer of 2023. We had several mutual friends, yet somehow had never crossed paths. Connor was loud, goofy, and always knew how to make the most out of nothing. His energy was contagious, and I knew, from the moment we met, that I was drawn towards his long hair and high energy. But...I wasn't looking for a boyfriend. I was totally focused on college and beginning nursing school, so a relationship was a big distraction. Connor came along and he was just impossible to ignore. He was so persistent, in a crazy, fun way--finding creative reasons to talk to me, show up where I was, or make me laugh. I couldn't tell if he was just being playful or if he was being serious. The more he kept showing up, the more I realized he was being sincere. It wasn't just his charm or wit, but the way he was pursuing me in a way I'd never seen before. It felt so spontaneous, coming up with something new to keep me on my toes. I finally started to see he wasn't just chasing anyone, he was chasing me, and I couldn't help but be drawn in. That's how I ended up with my fiancé--the guy who showed me he was serious about us while keeping it fun and exciting. From the moment we have been together, it has been nothing short of an adventure. In every goofy joke, in every quiet moment, and every shared laugh, I have realized that I have found someone who makes me feel like the luckiest person in the world. Connor isn't just the life of the party; he is the person I want by my side for all of life's great moments--and tough ones too. Connor has a way of turning something ordinary into something extraordinary, just by being himself.

An Endless Adventure

Mollie and I met at the lake on a summer day I’ll never forget. She had this way about her—a quiet confidence that made her seem untouchable. But something about her drew me in. I couldn’t leave her alone, and I knew I was in trouble. Mollie was an expert at playing hard to get, and I was determined to change the game. Over the next few weekends, we kept crossing paths with mutual friends, spending long days on the boat and at pool bars.&nbsp; Each time we met, she gave just enough to keep me intrigued. I’d crack jokes, tell exaggerated stories, or show off a little—anything to make her smile. And when she did, there was something in that smile that made me feel like I was getting somewhere. Eventually, I invited her out to my place in the sticks. I remember joking with her mom, telling her Mollie might not want to come back. That day was a turning point, Mollie wasn’t just the girl who played hard to get anymore. She became my partner in crime, my adventure buddy, and my best friend. Whether we were dancing around in the kitchen, riding side by sides, or sitting by the fire talking about life, she was always up for whatever the day brought. And I loved her for that. Life with Mollie flows like my precious locks, hence the reason I struck her attention at the lake… She’s the kind of person who makes the small moments feel big and turns ordinary days into unforgettable memories. I can’t imagine doing this life with anyone else.
