Connor and Rayna first crossed paths through quick glances and small conversations at the gym where Rayna worked. Connor’s friends teased him for weeks to finally ask her out, and as Rayna began attending United Church, their paths kept crossing in ways that felt far from accidental.

Long before their first date, Connor brought Rayna up in his men’s small group, praying for clarity and God’s timing. At the same time, Rayna was spending intimate time with the Lord, talking with close friends and seeking wisdom about whether this was a season God was opening.

Both were growing individually and quietly being shaped for something they didn’t yet know was coming.

Eventually, Connor asked Rayna to lunch, even though Rayna didn't realize at the time it was a date. From the very beginning, their conversations were honest, open, and centered on Jesus. Even in those early dates, they intentionally placed the Lord at the center of everything.

What started with simple gym encounters became a story covered in prayer, guided by God’s timing, and built on a foundation that continues to lead them forward together.
