To RSVP + secure your booking, first head to the RSVP tab and select Yes or No. If you are attending, head to the BOOK NOW tab and follow further instructions. Please RSVP + secure your booking by February 22nd, 2025. Note that a $250 deposit is required to secure your booking.

If you confirm your attendance, you will be auto-directed to a secure booking site with our travel agent Susan. $250.00 CAD per person is due at time of booking to secure your room and hold your seat on the aircraft. Please have your passport in hand to add names to this booking so spelling is exactly as on your passports.

Be sure your passport is valid for 2 months after your return and is in pristine condition - no rips, water marks etc.

A reminder will be sent out 21 days prior to the final payment date. No final payments will be applied till you email Susan authorization. Availability is based on a first-come, first-served basis, so DO NOT wait to book your room as the resort is popular and often sells out.

Due to limited flight availability from Thunder Bay—offering only one direct flight per week—we have scheduled a Monday-to-Monday itinerary to ensure everyone can travel on the same dates from Thunder Bay, Ottawa, and Toronto. If these dates do not work for you, please contact our travel agent via email to explore alternative options. Please note that prices for alternative flights may differ from the rates provided.

Please note that all deposits and final payments are non-refundable and non-transferable with this contract. Changes can be made with names or room categories before March 25th, 2025. Any changes requested after cannot be confirmed or may be confirmed with a change fee.

Sunwing offers Insurance Waivers for 10 guests and this is on a first come first serve basis. You can choose the policy you prefer in the RSVP/Book Now Tab.

Susan also sells Manulife Travel Insurance so please email Susan for details if the 10 Insurance waivers with Sunwing Insurance are not available. Medical Coverage is STRONGLY recommended as any trip to or from a doctor can be very costly. If you have questions, please email Susan as all details must be in writing.

Taxes within Cancun and the Airport:

Please note, effective February 1st, 2022 the Environmental Sanitation tax will now be collected per person/per night for Cancun, Environmental Tax is approx. $29 MXN Pesos per person per night (approx $2.00 CAN per person per night, pending exchange rate). Payable locally directly to the hotel upon check in. Rates are subject to change.

Vistax:

The state of Quintana Roo (Cancun) rolled out a mandatory VISITAX for all passengers in 2021 and as of October 2023, this is being enforced. Cancun Airport security has begun asking travelers for proof of this tax payment on a random basis, however there’s no strict consistency in who is asked for proof while you are in the Cancun airport. You may choose to pay in advance or simply have the link ready to pay on the spot if you’re asked at the airport. This tax is $22.00 CAD per person regardless of age as of this booking date.

Yes! This resort is adults only, no one under the age of 18 is allowed to book at the Paradisus La Perla.

There are dress codes for all restaurants at the resort (most are "resort casual"). All restaurants require you to wear clothing and shoes with the exception of the beach and pool bars. Please check the resort website HERE for further information.
