Q + A

When is the RSVP deadline?

While we originally decided on May 15th as the RSVP date, life got hectic and time got away from the Bride and Groom (grad school & planning a wedding will do that to you). To ensure guests have enough time to RSVP, we have decided to extend the RSVP deadline until May 28th. We appreciate your understanding of this change in detail and look forward to seeing your replies by May 28th at the latest.

What should I wear?

As we prepare for our special day, we kindly request semi-formal or dressy casual attire. For women, this means a knee-length dress, cocktail-length dress, or dressy separates. For the men, pants and a button-up shirt. Suit jackets are optional. To maintain the formal ambiance, please avoid jeans, sneakers, and white attire, including garments with a predominantly white color with a print overlay. An example would be a white dress with blue flowers. If you have any questions about attire, feel free to contact the Bride or Groom. Thank you for understanding and respecting our wishes. We deeply appreciate your presence and the love you share with us. Warm regards, Sydney and Connor.

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?

Guest arrival begins at 2:00pm. Guests will be greeted with beverages at the door and can spend time socializing with family and friends during this time. The ceremony will start at 3:00pm on the dot. This being said, it is highly recommended that you plan on arriving at the venue no later than 2:45pm to ensure you arrive before the ceremony begins. The roads leading up to the venue do not have reliable cell service. Because of this we recommend factoring in extra travel time in the case you have to reroute. While the Bride and Groom understand unexpected difficulties in travel may arise, guests who arrive after the ceremony has begun will politely be asked to wait in the cocktail hour area as to avoid any distractions during the special moments of the Bride and Groom saying their "I Dos."

What if I miss the RSVP deadline?

If we haven't received your RSVP by May 28th, we'll have to mark it as a "No." While we'll be saddened to miss your presence at our celebration, we must adhere to the venue's deadline for finalizing guest counts. Unfortunately, we won't be able to accommodate late RSVPs due to these constraints. We hope for your understanding and look forward to celebrating with those who can join us!

What will be served at dinner?

We will be serving Italian cuisine. There will be Chicken Alfredo, Lasagna, Spaghetti with Marinara, Cesar Salad, and Breadsticks. If there are any allergy concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to the Bride and Groom.

Will There be food during cocktail hour?

Yes! Light refreshments will be served during cocktail hour which will be hosted from 3:30pm-5:00pm. This will give the couple just enough time to get photos taken with the photographer as well as mingle with guests. We hope you take this time to enjoy the scenic venue and socialize with loved ones.

CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

We're excited to share our special day with all of you, and we know you'll want to capture some memories along the way. To ensure that everyone gets the chance to snap a few photos, we'll be allowing a 30-second window at the beginning of the ceremony for guests to take pictures of the bridal party and the bride and groom. However, before this brief window of time is announced and after the 30 second time frame has elapsed , we kindly ask that you stow away your phones and cameras. We've hired professional photographers to capture all the magical moments, and we want to ensure that everyone can fully immerse themselves in the ceremony without distractions. Thank you for understanding and respecting our wishes for an unplugged ceremony. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Will there be a bar?

Yes! The couple is stocking the bar with all of your favorites. How many times have you gone to get a drink at an event just to find out it was popular among others and they're already out? As you RSVP you will notice a question regarding what alcohol you prefer to drink. By answering this question you are helping the Bride and Groom select a variety of drinks that we know you enjoy and skip the ones that you're not interested in. This will make it so the bar has everyones favorites and can be stocked with drinks that will be most popular across guests.
