It all started when Cooper came across a picture of Claire wake-surfing on her Hinge profile. Being a wake-surfer himself, he decided to like her photo, and it was a match! Their conversation turned to weekend plans and they found out that they both grew up going to Lake Maxinkuckee. That weekend, Cooper invited Claire to go surfing with him and his friends. Claire jumped on the boat alone and met Cooper for the first time, along with 4 of his friends. Cooper was thoroughly impressed with Claire’s wake-surfing ability and outgoing spirit.
A few days later, Cooper invited Claire to go on an official first date. They decided on Top Golf. They didn’t play much golf and instead talked for over 4 hours about anything and everything. The rest was history.
