Though we grew up just down the road from each other and were only a grade apart in school, our paths didn’t cross until we were 18 when we started working together. What started as a casual friendship slowly grew into something meaningful over two years of working side by side.

In 2018, David joined the Army, and life took us in different directions. We didn’t see each other for three years. But fate had its plans. In June of 2021, after Cora returned to the job where we first met, we ran into each other again — exactly where it all began. One weekend later, we decided to see each other… and the rest unfolded quickly.

We dove into long distance — David stationed in Columbus, Georgia, and Cora living in Roswell. Despite the distance, unpredictable schedules, and even a totaled car after a deer-related mishap, we never missed a weekend. Even if we could only have a few hours together, we'd always make the drive. Through all the chaos, our bond only grew stronger.

On August 1, 2022, David completed his time in the Army, and just four days later, we moved into our first apartment together — finally in the same place, beginning a new chapter.

The next December, we traveled to Italy, a dream trip that became even more unforgettable when David proposed in the romantic gardens of Villa Borghese in Rome. David made it magical — surprising her with a photo shoot at the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, capturing the moment we promised forever.

We celebrated four amazing years together on June 26, 2025 — and now, we can’t wait to say “I do” with our friends and family on October 25, 2025!
