Cora's POV:

Long ago in a galaxy far, far away when I first saw Jhervin, I assumed he was budget cut security for church when he strolled in with a cymbal that resembled a shield. After initially hating his guts, I eventually decided I sorta kinda liked him and couldn't bear life without him. Now we are getting married, and I wouldn't want to have it any other way. This is the way.

Jhervin's POV:

I was walking toward the exit of the church after playing drums, so I opened the door, and that's when I first saw Cora up close. She was sitting on a bench outside the church, and I've never seen hair so red, with skin so gentle and light and eyes so round and light green when she looked up at me. As I opened the door then quickly looked away, she was a clear stand out among the other girls.

I started to talk to the group, and I noticed she was the shyest among all of them, so i tried to include her and asked for her name. She tried to tell me her name was Amanda, but all her friends instantly said that it wasn't, and she asked why can't you guys just go along with it. I saw that she was trying to mess with me, and I made her my target to mess with every chance I got. Pretty soon I saw that our sense of humor was similar, our bantering became inside jokes, and our rivalry became a friendship.

As I grew closer to her, I started to see her beauty grow through my eyes and into my heart more and more. I was hesitant if I should do anything about my feelings, but when I started to think what it would be like if she slipped away because I never took that leap of faith, I went for it, and it was the best decision I've ever made in my life. She has changed my life for the best, and I can't picture one without her which is why I made sure she would never part from me by asking her to be my wife and be mine for the rest of our lives.
