We appreciate we picked a venue far away from everyone (sorry for that). Penrith is located in the beautiful Lake District and is about a 4 hour drive from both Alan's home in Scotland and Cora's home in England.

Penrith is on the main West Coast rail line, with a direct train running to London in approx. 3 hours.

The M6 motorway, (J39 ) only 20 minutes drive away.

The ancient market town of Appleby has an excellent range of local amenities including a railway station sited on the scenic Settle to Carlisle Railway.

The M6 (Junction 40) and West Coast mainline railway are easily accessed at Penrith, approximately 12 miles north.
