Down in The DMs:
In the summer of 2019, all of St Louis was celebrating the Stanley Cup finals. Amongst the crowd was Corey. Alissa at the time, unknowingly was downtown celebrating as well. On Instagram Alissa stumbled upon a picture of Corey with his friends on her discover page. She found him so handsome and got his attention, with likes, likes and more likes! Captivated by her beauty, Corey had to shoot his shot. Shortly after, Alissa and Corey exchanged many messages, snapchats and late night facetime calls. It was not until Octobor, three months later that they met in person! <3

Inseparable Ever Since: After a few months of talking and Corey begging her to see him, Alissa drove to Coreys apartment in Soulard to meet. You could hear the nerves in Coreys voice as he showed her inside. They stayed up through the night sitting in that city apartment talking about everything under the moon. Alissa and Corey never spent a night away from each other after that. It felt so right. Like they say...when you know you know!

Sparked a Tradition: What bonded them the most right off the bat was football. Corey was enamered by her knowledge of the game. Alissa and Corey both love watching any game but love the most to cheer on Coreys favorite team, The Cleveland Browns. It took one trip for Alissa to fall in love with this underdog team and Corey. Every year since they have made a trip to watch the Brownies play.

He is a pandamic puppy and to say that hes a big baby is an understatement! Hades was a huge part in keeping spirits high during Covid19 for the couple. It will always hold special place in their hearts! They have been to so many places in the past five years being together! You'll want to ask them about their paranormal experiences!

The Moment:
On a warm rainy June night, Alissa and Corey were getting ready for a date night to go see Beauty and the Beast at the Muny. They had planned it for at least a year, given Belle is Alissas favorite princess. Unbeknownst to Alissa...she was about to be proposed to. The Muny is located in the biggest, beautiful, historically famous Forest Park. In fact their house is five minutes from it so you can only imagine how often they take advantage of going to the zoo, museums and of course stunning Art Hill. They were driving through the park to the Muny when suddenly Corey pulled over to the side of the road with no explanation. At the bottom of Art Hill by the fountains he guided Alissa out of the car, still no words. They walked to the front of the fountains. Cloudy with some sprinkling, it was silent and all you could hear was pitter patter of the rainfall. Alissa turned to look at Corey and there he was on one knee with few words to say because Alissa knows in her heart it was about damn time, he didn't have to say much! Asking will you marry me Corey was shaking like a leaf and Alissa was overwhelmed with her love for him.
