A small back story to us we met in high school when I (Corin) was a sophomore and he (Nick) was a senior. We were only together for about 10 months before he left for Marine boot camp. We had no contact for three months except through letters and after that, the journey of long-distance started. We both love to travel and explore so whenever the opportunity opened for us to go visit each other we went for it. It has truly been a long journey to get where we are today but when you find the right person anything is possible. They say distance makes the heart grow fonder and that couldn't be more true for the both of us. Even though most of our time together has been over the phone or in person just for a week every once in a while for over 2 years, we wouldn't trade it for anything. We are so excited for this new chapter in our lives and couldn't be more grateful for the constant support we have received.

Not to long after we met Nick asked me on a date to a local park to go for a bike ride and then get dinner. That local park ended up being where he popped the question of "will you marry me". I happily answered yes and he gave me the most beautiful ring I have seen and he told me he designed it!
