In November 2014, during her freshman year of college, Corinne started working part-time at Tops Friendly Markets. There, she met Alex. The two quickly hit it off during their late shifts, often closing the registers together and chatting throughout the night.

To unwind after work those late shifts, Alex, Corinne, and a close-knit group of coworkers—who later became lifelong friends—would head to Applebee’s for half-price appetizers. After one shift, Alex surprised Corinne with a Coca-Cola bottle that had her name on it—something she had always wanted but could never find. It was a small gesture, but one that meant a lot, and their friendship continued to grow from there.

Bonding over TV shows, their love of food, and a shared sense of humor, Corinne and Alex officially began dating in August 2015. They provided support to each other through college, graduating together in May 2018.

Through the ups and downs of school, demanding work schedules, and a global pandemic, they always found strength in each other.

In July 2022, they bought their first home together, moving in with their two cats, Lily and Sisi, and their pet fish. The transition felt natural, and their home quickly filled with love and comfort.

Then, in August 2024—just two days shy of their nine-year anniversary—Alex proposed to Corinne in their living room, presenting a Coca-Cola bottle that read: “Corinne, will you marry me?”

Now, we’re beyond excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. We can’t wait to share our special day—and our story—with you in October 2026!
