Samuel and I met in passing at the end of our freshman year at the University of Arkansas. Friends for several months, I asked Samuel to Chi Omega formal at the beginning of May, 2019. That summer we worked at different camps (me at Camp Ozark and he at Kanakuk K-1) and we began to write letters to each other throughout the summer. We went on our first date on July 28, 2019 and soon after we began dating! Exactly two years from our first function together, Samuel proposed on May 2, 2021!
