In March 2023, we met up for a night of bowling after matching on a dating app. It was the kind of first date that felt easy - lots of laughs, a few strikes, and just enough teasing to keep things fun. Corissa happened to win that night, but Jonathan did come really close... but close doesn't count when it comes to bragging rights.

From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. Every weekend we made the hour-long drive to spend time together. Rain or shine, sleepy or caffeinated, we showed up for each other. And it wasn’t just us who bonded—our dogs, Rocky and Rue, became best friends too.

In December 2024, while out looking for arrowheads, Jonathan surprised Corissa with a proposal that was as unexpected as it was perfect. He got down on one knee and held out a handmade ring crafted from wood salvaged from a barn Corissa's grandfather built. It wasn't just a symbol of love, it carried family history and was built with intention and care. Surrounded by nature and a shared sense of adventure, we said yes to forever.

Over the years, we’ve explored the world together - from the stunning landscapes of New Zealand to the vibrant beaches of Mexico. But some of our favorite adventures have been closer to home: snowboarding fresh powder, hiking mountain trails, biking through rugged terrain, fishing quiet lakes, and visiting National Parks whenever we can. We also love the quiet moments - binge-watching our favorite shows, teaming up in video games, and just hanging out. Whether we’re chasing each other down the trail or curled up on the couch, every moment feels like home.
