Travis and I met through church. I was at a point in my life where I never thought I would get to experience marriage. I had heard God saying Travis’s name to me one day while at church and quickly pushed it to the side, almost as if it were a mistake that I’d heard it. My good friend Jordan then brought his name up again one day soon after in a text and, again, I quickly brushed it off thinking he and I were way too different to ever work out and that Jordan was crazy 🤪 . After thinking about what she had said, I decided I would speak to him the next time I saw him (nothing more than a “hi, how are you doing”). It just so happened, he and his family had just gotten back from a cruise (and I love cruises) so I decided that was what I would bring up in our conversation. He would later tell me that not long before that short conversation, he told God that if he were ever gonna get married, He would have to bring a woman directly to him because he wasn’t looking. Needless to say, the rest is history.
