In May of 2022, our mutual friends, Kelsey and Devin, decided to play matchmaker by setting us up. We started messaging back and forth soon after, and the rest was history!

Our first date took place in June 2022. With both of us working night shift, a normal date would come later. Brett showed up to Corrinn's apartment at 1am with a case of PBR in hand. We drank beer and talked for hours on end.

Brett planned the most amazing surprise proposal at his parents' house. Complete with matching Star Wars outfits, bubble machines, customized desserts, and beautiful decorations. Inside of a flower petal heart, he got on one knee and popped the question.

Since our engagement, we have thoroughly enjoyed planning our wedding together and soaking up the short time we get to be engaged.
