Take a lap (or two if you're doing it right) around the capitol building and enjoy the wares of local farmers! We especially love Stella's spicy cheesy bread, and the Driftless sheep cheeses. Pick up a beautiful locally grown bouquet while you're at it!

Just minutes away from the hotel and venue is one of our favorite nearby trails. Following an easy path you can see some of the beautiful geography of the Driftless Region of the midwest. Just next door are even more trails inside a huge dog park that you can find us taking Sirius to often!

Enjoy a crisp sour beer at one of our favorite local breweries, and the location of our first date!

Take a seat in one of Madison's iconic sunburst chairs and enjoy a bite and a drink on the lakefront. Don't forget to get some Babcock ice cream, made by the University of Wisconsin themselves!
