Our Wedding

First meeting: 08/2008 Cory sits next to MacKenzie in tenth grade art class, where MacKenzie is working on a painting of New Kids on the Block (it was a phase!) Every day on the way to school MacKenzie thought about how excited she was to spend time with Cory but she was too scared to tell him how much she liked him! They remain good friends up until graduation in May 2011.          First date: 5/20/2020  MacKenzie and Cory’s first date was at Handel’s ice cream in Cory’s pick up truck. Once reunited MacKenzie stared into Cory’s pretty blue eyes and thought “I can understand why I had a crush on him at 15!” He was so nervous to ask her on a date that he asked his sister Emma to help him come up with ideas which MacKenzie thought was very cute!          Dating: 07/05/2020 Cory invited MacKenzie to meet his parents at his parent’s annual Fourth of July gathering. MacKenzie realized that after this, she wanted Cory to be her boyfriend so the following day when they were talking on the phone, MacKenzie told Cory that she wanted to be exclusive. The rest is history!       Engaged: 02/03/2024 Cory took MacKenzie to their favorite local meadery & proposed to her after a fun filled day playing rummy, eating loaded nachos and spending quality time together. He had a custom night sky puzzle made that once completed said “Mackenzie, you are the love of my life. Will you marry me?” But MacKenzie didn’t notice right away & Cory wanted it to be private so he waited until they got to his pick up truck to surprise MacKenzie by asking her to become his wife!

Dates 💖

Cory and MacKenzie were friends in high school. Cory may say that MacKenzie used to bully him, But MacKenzie would say she just had a crush on him! Life happened and Cory and MacKenzie didn’t reunite until 2020 when Cory went out of his way to make sure that MacKenzie knew he still liked her. Once reunited, these two lovebirds knew right away that their destiny was going to be with each other 💜
