Our Wedding

Our journey began in May 2019, when fate brought us together in the most unexpected way. From the moment we met, it felt like everything just *clicked*. It didn’t take long for us to realize we were meant to be. Family and friends quickly caught on to the fact that we were inseparable, and our bond was growing stronger with each passing day. Over the next few years, we built a life together, filled with love, laughter, and our shared passion/obsession with our fur babies, Jake and Tucker, and eventually with the addition of Oscar and Chase! In 2025, we reached a new chapter in our lives. After careful consideration, we sold our home and found the perfect new one—a space that was just right for us and our new journey. Shortly after this milestone, came the proposal! It was a moment of pure joy, marking the beginning of our next adventure together. Now, as we prepare to celebrate our wedding with friends and family, we are filled with excitement and gratitude for the journey that brought us here. Our love story, built on trust and friendship, is only just beginning. We can’t wait to start this new chapter together and share our happiness with the people who mean the most to us. Our wedding day will be a celebration, not just of our love for one another, but of the beautiful life we’ve created and the many memories yet to come.

Gheens Foundation Lodge is located inside Beckley Creek Park at 1421 Beckley Creek Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40245. From S Beckley Station Road, turn into the main park entrance and follow Beckley Creek Parkway. Stay on the main road and look for park signage directing you to Gheens Foundation Lodge. Parking will be available on-site.

Venue Directions

Our wedding day will include an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. September in Kentucky is typically warm, so please dress comfortably for the weather while embracing the spirit of the season. Attire is cocktail or semi-formal, elevated and elegant, but not overly stuffy. We invite you to lean into early autumn tones, earth tones, neutrals, and timeless textures as we celebrate love and new beginnings.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! To help minimize crowds and make the transition to the reception as smooth as possible, you can find your assigned table number here. While you’ll have a designated table, feel free to choose any open seat at the table once you arrive. There will also be a physical seating chart display at the reception entrance.
