Elko is the home of the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, and this is their headquarters! You can enjoy gifts made by people in the area, check out the old bar, and enjoy their museum/gallery.

Our little town is full of some fun surprises and you can learn more about them here! They have everything Elko from mammoth fossils to homages to Bing Cosby!

If you are arriving early and are looking for a unique dining experience, this is the place to go. This is the home of Ruby Mountain Heliskiing, and they provide one of our all-time favorite date nights.

The California Trail followed along the Humbolt River (for as long as it lasts). This free museum gives some insight to their journey as they dealt with everything from dehydration to succumbing to Donner Pass (and who was actually consumed there).
