Kevin and Courtney met at the Lantern in Downtown Naperville early Fall 2016. The Cubs World Series run gave them plenty of opportunities to get to know each other, as they met out to watch all of the playoff games. It was during this time that they realized Kevin's mom was Courtney's sister's preschool teacher, their mom's worked together, Kevin grew up going to school with Courtney's cousins, and Courtney's uncle was Kevin's high school football coach! Their relationship grew through spontaneous trips, their love of coaching, and of course, their Lantern friends. In November 2019, Kevin moved to North Carolina and Courtney decided to join in June 2020. There they got to explore their new home together. The couple is constantly exploring new restaurants and breweries, and always trying to find time for a weekend at the beach or in the mountains. They have come to love going hiking, taking yearly trips with family to Siesta Key and Gulf Shores, and exploring new places. Not to mention their yearly trips to different baseball stadiums! On March 28th, 2024, Kevin proposed at Cobalt Restaurant in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This was their first date spot back in 2017 on a family vacation.

Chicago Marriot Southwest at Burr Ridge

Charter bus will be provided for hotel guests to and from wedding venue! Bus will be picking up guests from the hotel at 3:45pm. The bus will take two trips back to the hotel at the end of the night. First trip will be at 10pm and second trip will be at 11pm.
