On January 1, 2023, Austin and Courtney embarked on a journey known as a blind date, thanks to our wonderful mutual friend, Sharon, who set us up. Our first date together was a pizza place overlooking the Brazos River, followed by a movie that left us both smiling. From those days and coming months, we discovered how much we cherished family, friends, and the dream of building a life together.

As we spent more time together, it became clear that Austin has a passion for weekend projects, and Courtney, ever the willing partner, is ready to lend a hand—as long as there’s food involved! This playful dynamic has filled our days with laughter and love.

Fast forward a little over a year and a half, and the moment came that changed everything. During a weekend getaway to Broken Bow, OK, we hiked to a stunning spot by the river. With nature as our backdrop, Austin got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. It was a wonderful moment, made even more memorable by a little mishap: my hands swelled up, making it a challenge to get the ring on! We both laughed, knowing it was a moment we would cherish forever.

As we prepare to say “I do,” we can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you who have been part of our journey. Here’s to many more adventures together!
