Todd and Courtney’s story began in the honors dorm at The University of Akron, where a friendship built on curiosity and laughter soon grew into something deeper. Todd, a sophomore at the time, and Courtney, a freshman, quickly became inseparable — two people who seemed to bring out the best in each other from the very start.

After college, life took them far beyond campus. Courtney’s work as a travel physical therapist brought them to new corners of the country — from the mountains of Colorado to the coasts of California — and together they built a collection of memories marked by adventure. Whether hiking rugged trails, skiing fresh powder, or discovering new cities, they learned that their favorite part of every journey was simply being together.

When they returned to Ohio, they added a new member to their little team — a loyal dog (Luna) who joined in their everyday adventures. And one day, at The Holden Arboretum, with the world stretching wide below them, Todd asked Courtney to marry him.

Now, as they prepare to celebrate their wedding, Todd and Courtney are filled with excitement and gratitude — eager to share this next great adventure surrounded by the family and friends who have loved and supported them along the way.
