Our Wedding

     We are so excited to have so much love and support from our friends and family  as we get closer to our special day. By the time we get married, we’ll have been together for 6 years (say what?!) and have made so many great connections along the way.
      Rewind to 2012 where it all started. When we first met, neither of us expected a relationship and started as friends. We were in college at UTSA (go Runners!) participating in sorority/fraternity recruitment trying to fit it all in with studying, working, and making time for at least a little bit of sleep. Life was busy but quickly after meeting, we fell in sync and our first date was just after Halloween to see Frankenweenie with a burger and some ice cream afterwards. We’ve been together ever since and are still down for a re-run of our first date. 
     Through the years we’ve grown a lot, shared amazing adventures, traveled (we still can’t decide what place is our favorite), built the best friendships, and laughed at plenty of dad jokes. Facing challenges, celebrating life achievements, and everything in-between, we’ve stuck through it all and feel that the big man upstairs really knew what He was doing when He matched us up. Glory be to Him for taking us through this amazing love journey!
      The proposal involved a lot of planning to make sure that majority of our immediate family and friends could be there for the surprise. A walk down memory lane at one of our favorite places in San Antonio, The Pearl, an anxious and waiting crowd, Brandon on one knee, a little rain, and a lot of emotions later, and we were engaged! Even Winston was there to celebrate his parents being official.
     As we get closer to the wedding, we’re so appreciative of each other, you all, our fantastic life so far, and are soaking up every minute of this engaged bliss. We are so looking forward to spending time with those that can make it and are counting down the days until The Reasors Say “I Doo”... happy wedding season to us!

Though&nbsp;Ashley and Courtney met as opposites (Ashley being organized, punctual, a morning person,&nbsp;and a&nbsp;country-music lover), they&nbsp;share a same love for dogs, Say Yes To The Dress, Seattle Seahawks, OKC&nbsp;Thunder,&nbsp;and&nbsp;adventures. Ashley is the future Reasor's third wheel (or is Brandon their third wheel?) and has lived down the hall on several occasions.&nbsp;They met in college and are sorority sisters (Phi Mu)&nbsp;and just so happen to have&nbsp;attended the same high school (go Highlanders!).&nbsp;

Ashley Franklin 

Once middle school arch nemesis turned Best Man per their shared love of the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, and former career at U-Haul. He, Brandon, and Marc (groomsman) have started a tradition on traveling to Cowboys football&nbsp;games. He is a local guide for places-that-can't-be-named&nbsp;in&nbsp;Austin and probably knows more about your hometown than you do,&nbsp;so ask him about a cool spot&nbsp;to check out.&nbsp;The two went to college together and were fraternity brothers (Kappa Sigma) as well.&nbsp;

Andrew Gonzalez

Sarah was introduced to Courtney as her new boss and the rest is history - she's a mentor and encourager to Courtney and the two can talk and daydream together about their pets, vacations, TV shows,&nbsp;and shared humor all day. Courtney temporarily lived with Sarah (and her husband - groomsman) after first moving to Austin&nbsp;and the two are practically neighbors now. She's Courtney's work-out partner but shares&nbsp;Courtney's appreciation for a sweet treat and a walk around the neighborhood with their dogs.&nbsp;

Sarah Sugerman

With a southern&nbsp;accent and charming smile, no one can resist being friends with Dunlop. No one calls him by his first name so we suggest getting on a last-name basis with him.&nbsp;The two became friends in&nbsp;college and are&nbsp;fraternity brothers&nbsp;(AKA&nbsp;Little Bro). You can catch him heading out on several trips with the guys (New Orleans was the most recent)&nbsp;and he has a killer cowboy hat - if you haven't met a true Texan, talk to this guy, you won't be disappointed.&nbsp;

Zach (Zachary) Dunlop

Hailey is frequently called&nbsp;"Smurf"&nbsp;by Courtney and it's a long story, but the girls are cut from the same cloth&nbsp;and were "basically" roommates in college. They met at UTSA&nbsp;cheer tryouts and were inseparable ever since, despite the fact that Hailey is an ultimate cat lover (sorry, cats drool and dogs rule). They later joined the same sorority and enjoy an ornament exchange every year as tradition (cue to cute "aww"s).&nbsp;

Hailey Abell

Cody is Brandon's oldest friend and the pair met in elementary school. Occasionally going by "Moon Bear" or "Moon Pie", you'll find him with a suave beard and a great sense of humor; he never fails to seize&nbsp;an opportunity. He loves baseball, cooking,&nbsp;and long walks on the beach. Well, maybe not the last item (you never know) but he does like to fish.&nbsp;We highly recommend that you check out his ServPro rap video, it will do you some good if you have the Monday blues.&nbsp;

Cody Moon 

Despite their extreme height difference, "Sugerman" is Brandon's work-out partner and fellow Chipotle fan. The two became friends via the Matron of Honor (he married a winner)&nbsp;and is a true California bro (with great hair). He's capable of giving Brandon a run for his money with political talk and really knows his coffee.&nbsp;All jokes aside, he's a really nice guy and genuinely&nbsp;looks out for the couple. If&nbsp;Winston loves him, everyone should.&nbsp;

Michael Sugerman 

Megan may be small, but she packs a punch and can most likely beat you in any athletic activity - hence how the girls fell into friendship naturally. &nbsp;They met in college and though Megan&nbsp;may be younger and shorter than Courtney, she's her "Big" and is always down for a good chat about life, but more importantly, Harry Potter.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Megan Engel

This darling thing just got engaged herself and is Courtney's "Little" from their sorority, where they met. The two have recently talked non-stop about wedding planning, but Alex is studying&nbsp;her way through dental school and is&nbsp;always making Courtney proud. They have a shared love for little white dogs, Star Wars, music,&nbsp;and reading.

Alex (Alexandra) Guerrero 

Marc is a fellow Cowboys and Spurs fanatic so naturally, he and Brandon get along;&nbsp;Throw in his relaxed vibe and sports betting interest and you have a match. Marc is part of a newer tradition to travel to a Cowboys away game every year and recently made the (right) decision to move back to Texas from California.&nbsp;Marc and Brandon&nbsp;became friends through their fraternity and&nbsp;Courtney always appreciates that Marc gives her credit for her&nbsp;random sports facts.&nbsp;

Marc Flynn

Liz and Courtney met by joining the same sorority and later became better&nbsp;friends over peach green tea lemonades, crafting, double dates, and concert-going. She's always up for a good laugh,&nbsp;vent session,&nbsp;and knows the best places to try new food and drinks. Ask her about her students- she's sure to have an entertaining story.&nbsp;

Liz (Elizabeth) Todd 

Josh and Brandon&nbsp;met when they were on the same high school football team and have been buds ever since. Josh is humorous and has the same appreciation for sports that Brandon does; thankfully, he loves dogs too.&nbsp;

Josh (Joshua) Cantwell

Alicia is Courtney's older cousin and when they were younger, you could find Courtney anywhere that Alicia was. The pair typically had their own agenda on vacations and have always had a same flare of fun. Courtney stood in Alicia's wedding and shamelessly cried a good bit -&nbsp;let's hope it's not the same in reverse.&nbsp;

Alicia White 

Joel (future brother-in-law)&nbsp;is a man of simplicity; he and Brandon&nbsp;can lounge around in comfy clothes, talk about dogs, war movies, and eat a good meal. Joel may have cleaned his gun in front of Brandon when they met (classic), but he's grown to like Brandon ever since.&nbsp;

Joel Doolittle 

Yes, Ashlie (future sister-in-law) is tall and is good at volleyball. She's also great at keeping Courtney up-to-date on the latest rap songs, shoe trends, and fast-food goodies. You can catch the two together lounging&nbsp;in comfy clothes while watching Friends&nbsp;or movies - lazy agendas are important too!

Sports. Working out. Video games. What else do you need for two guys to hit it off?&nbsp;You can catch them getting competitive in a game on basketball but no one ever really knows who wins.&nbsp; Jacob (future brother-in-law) knows how to keep a conversation going and always keeps Brandon entertained.&nbsp;

If you're planning to make a vacation out of your trip to Austin, definitely make this a priority! As we stay tuned for dates, the event does typically end just before Christmas. However, if thousands of lights, live music, fun&nbsp;activities, festival rides, great food, and Christmas spirit sound like your kind of thing, this would be a great experience for you (and the little ones!). For those traveling longer distances, we'll keep our fingers crossed that&nbsp;Santa will extend his stay this year.&nbsp;

Austin Trail of Lights - Zilker Park

If you’re looking for a sweet treat, these are the best donuts you’ll ever have! They aren’t just donuts, it’s a full dessert as a meal, so bring your appetite. Courtney and her mom first found this gem on a mother/daughter trip several years back. Now, Brandon and Courtney love to stop here frequently and their favorites are the Miss Shortcake, Naughty and Nice, and Son of a Peach donuts.

If the weather is nice, this is a perfect place to get a breath of fresh air; whether you want a quick scenic spot for pictures or a longer hike to de-stress, Mt. Bonnell is accessible&nbsp;for almost anyone (even the younger ones!). Supposedly, this is also a fantastic spot to watch the fireworks for New Year's Eve!&nbsp;Courtney and Brandon like to take Winston for quick trips here, and this beautiful spot is also the location where Courtney's brother, Jacob, proposed to his now-fiancè. We definitely recommend that you check it out!

Mount Bonnell Park

Hopdoddy is increasingly expanding, but it's an Austin original and is a delicious staple for Brandon and Courtney (for not just burgers, but milkshakes too). The original location is on South Congress Avenue among the bustling shopping and restaurant row so&nbsp;it's a fun place to sight see too. We recommend avoiding peak times, you don't want to get caught in the lengthy line that wraps around their building!&nbsp;

Hopdoddy Burger Bar

This part of Austin is a main hub for entertainment - you can see the Texas Capital, take a photo with&nbsp;the "I Love You So Much" mural, find great restaurants, explore&nbsp;some pretty cool (and some strange) shops, and get a great view of the city from this avenue. There's also a Willie Nelson statue and mural within close proximity for those that like the country music star. We'll let Trip Advisor show you the other top sites near South Congress Avenue though, there's never too much to see!&nbsp;

Rainey Street is big for nightlife here in Austin - you can find some spectacular restaurants and bars here that will make your stay in Austin fun, especially if you plan to go out for New Year's Eve! Check out Moonshine Grill and the Container Bar - they are a few of the couple's favorite spots in this area.&nbsp;
