Our Wedding

Cam has lived in Pittsburgh all his life. Courtney has lived in Greencastle most of her life. We both love Pittsburgh, and chose to go to Duquesne for college. We met in the fall of sophomore year, 2019, at a mixer thrown by Cam's fraternity Sigma Nu with Courtney's sorority Alpha Omicron Pi. After some dancing, Cam asked for Courtney's Snapchat. When campus closed for COVID in March 2020, things really started to pick up with multiple text messages each day and long FaceTime conversations several times a week. Cam finally got up the nerve to ask Courtney to be his girlfriend in June. Soon after, Courtney had the courage to meet Cam's family for the first time on a 10-day vacation at the beach. Over the next few years we both graduated from Duquesne, Courtney started working as a first grade teacher and Cam began his career in supply chain management. Some of the things we love are going to Penguins games, surprising each other in little ways, and spending time with family. We have been through a lot of life in the time that we've been together and we are so excited to start this next journey as a couple.

Courtney met Ashley freshman year at Duquesne. They became fast friends. During their years at college, they had many adventures together - going to Pitt football games, studying outside, walking to Market Square, celebrating birthdays, and ice skating at Market Square in the winter. One of Courtney's favorite memories with Ashley is when they went on a road trip together to St. Louis, MO. They made a couple stops along the way in West Virginia, Columbus, Indianapolis, and Illinois.

Cameron met Spencer freshman year at Duquesne. They became fast friends. During sophomore year, Cam found an old email and realized that he was supposed to be roommates with Spencer freshman year, but Cameron had neglected to look at the roommate site. During their years at college, Cam and Spencer enjoyed going to car meets and college parties together. One of Cameron's favorite memories with Spencer is car racing each other.

Courtney met Chloe freshman year in one of their education classes. They shared the common goal of becoming elementary school teachers. During their years at college, they had many adventures together - biking around around the city, getting milkshakes at Fudge Farm, walking downtown together, and Chloe was with Courtney for Courtney's first date party with Cam. One of my favorite memories with Chloe is ice skating at PPG rink in downtown Pittsburgh.

Cameron met Connor freshman year of high school. The teacher had randomly assigned their seats next to each other. They started to talk and share music with each other. They spent most lunch periods in high school talking and sharing stories. One of Cam's favorite memories with Connor is smoking cigars and having a few drinks at the Huston's pool.

Courtney met Isabelle through gymnastics in high school. They have been friends ever since. They enjoy hanging out when they are both in town together. One of Courtney's favorite memories with Isabelle is practicing gymnastics with the girls that were a level above Courtney and Isabelle.

Cameron met Ricky sophomore year of high school while on the football team. They spent a lot of time in the gym working out together. Cam and Ricky would chat with each other while on the sidelines of football games. One of Cam's favorite memories with Ricky is when they took a road trip to southern Virginia to play airsoft together.

Ricky Henderson

Ashlynn is one of Courtney's cousins. They have  grown up together and have always been close. Even though Ashlynn lives in Arizona, Courtney has visited her and other family most summers since 2013. One of Courtney's favorite memories is when they graduated college in 2022. Courtney flew to Arizona to be there for Ashlynn's graduation from ASU. A week later, Ashlynn flew to Pittsburgh with her family for Courtney's graduation from Duquesne.

Casey is Cameron's middle brother. He played competitive hockey throughout high school and joined the military with aspirations of becoming a Pennsylvania State Trooper. One of Cam's favorite memories with Casey is playing video games and having Nerf gun fights.

Ally is one of Courtney's cousins. Now that Ally lives closer, they see each other more often and go on adventures in Washington, DC together. One of Courtney's favorite memories is the wine night that she went to Ally's apartment for with a couple of their cousins.

Caden is Cameron's youngest brother who will be turning 18 only a few days before our wedding. Since the age of 5 he's been ice skating. Since the age of 6 he's been playing competitive hockey with hopes of joining the NHL. One of Cam's favorite memories with Caden is trading quotes from the movie Talladega Nights.

Sarris Candies is a chocolate shop that's famous for their chocolate bars and chocolate pretzels. They also have ice cream at their shop with a sundae bar. It is located in Canonsburg about 6 minutes away from the venue.

If you're not from the area, Primanti's is a staple in Pittsburgh. They are famous for their sandwiches that have fries and slaw on them (if you want). There are plenty of Primanti Brothers across the city and outside of the city. The Bridgeville location is about 10 minutes away from the venue.

The Pirates play the New York Mets on Friday, June 27 at 6:40 pm and Sunday, June 29 at 1:35 pm. On Friday, there will be a postgame drone show. Insider's tip: If you would like a view of the city from your seats, sit on the third baseline.

The Night Before

If you arrive on Friday, please meet us for a celebratory drink at the Homewood Suites - Southpointe in the Horizon Room from 7:30-11 pm. Rehearsal participants will be there around 8:30-9, but family members will open the room at 7:30 for people to gather as you please.

Our Wedding Day

Please be seated by 5 pm at The Audrey. Cocktail Hour and Reception immediately following ceremony.

The Morning After

9-11 a.m. | Hotel provided breakfast (with hosted Bloody Mary bar and wedding cake!) in the Horizon Room at The Homewood Suites Southpointe.
