Ethan and Courtney began dating junior year of high school at Bennington! The spark began when Ethan chose to sit next to Courtney in class. After countless days spent talking in class and hanging out, they decided to make it official on November 4, 2017.

From there, they graduated high school together, started at different colleges, and began new career paths. In January of 2023, they bought a house in Auburn, Nebraska. Then in October of 2023, Ethan finally popped the question while they were visiting Kansas City. The proposal took place at a beautiful botanical garden on October 13, 2023.

They love spending time together whether it's landscaping, traveling, fishing, watching movies and tv shows, or just simply enjoying a meal together. They love taking on the challenges of new house projects and planning what their future home could look like.

When deciding on a wedding date, they both shared their love for the month of October. They love the weather, the changing scenery, and all things that come with fall.

While their love story has only just begun, they have grown together in so many ways. They went from teenagers, to high school graduates, to young adults, and then college graduates all the span of 7 years together. They cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together and to see what their marriage will bring!
