Cody and Courtney met their freshman year of high school, two kids unknowingly destined to be soul mates.

The two started off as friends, riding the school bus together, with very little interaction. She was dorky and awkward, he wore baggy clothes and long chains. I mean, it's freshman year, fashion wasn't their thing.

Throughout high school the two somehow became closer as friends. Hanging out a little more, riding around in his little Integra, going to school dances together, playing pranks on each other... Oh the prank wars. We still talk about those till this day.

It wasn't until many years, and a lot of life later, the two reconnected over a little game of bowling, and have been together ever since. Courtney and Cody were blessed with the most perfect little boy, Cash Kelley, and soon after Cody left for deployment. Although it was a challenge to figure out life with a little baby, and the love of her life on the other side of the world, the couple managed to do it flawlessly.

Cody returned home, and after a little readjusting and getting life situated, he FINALLY proposed to Courtney on Christmas eve. It was no average proposal either. He proposed with a scavenger hunt! How cool right?

5 years together, and everyday is like the first day.
