We met at cobblestone tavern in Fairfield, Ohio. Actually the picture you see above was from a video (ask to see it) of us having a dance off shortly after we met for the first time. If there is one thing to know about John and I, we love to dance. (Don’t let him fool you, I AM the better dancer.)

Our friend, Brett Hodges, walked over to my table and started a conversation with me because John had mentioned that he wanted to come talk to me. Eventually, John did walk over and started being his goofy self right away. I thought John was just a creepy old man (lol) but also super fun to hang out with. Towards the end of the night, he didn’t even ask me for my number, but I wanted it, so I threw my phone at him and said “put your number in my phone.” and he did.

He tried to texting me and also tried to get me to go on a date with him, but I wasn’t ready at the time. A few weeks go by and my mom was having a go away party at cobblestone, so I invited him to come out. We had so much fun that night and even had our first kiss. From then on, I knew I wanted to see where things would go. I am so happy I did because little did I know that he would one day be my husband and we get our happily ever after. 💞💞
