When and where will the wedding be?

The Crystal Ballroom on May 6, 2023 in Charlotte, NC!

Are kids welcomed?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving your kids with loved ones so you can celebrate with us.

What time is the wedding?

5:00pm EST

Courtney will be walking the aisle at 5:00 and doors will close at 4:55. We encourage you to show up a little early to save your seat!

What is the attire?

Black tie optional. Please no jeans. Gentleman, please wear a suit or if you feel like wearing your favorite tux, be our guest! Ladies, you may wear a tea or floor length gown if you would like.

What is the weather like in May in North Carolina?

The highs range from 76-82 degrees and the lows range from 54-63 degrees.

Indoor/outdoor?

The ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception will be held indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Cocktail hour will begin immediately after the ceremony and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

If you have sent your RSVP in with a "Yes" response and something comes up that you cannot make it, we would appreciate you responding to Joanie Koehler (MOB) at joaniekoeh@gmail.com

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving around 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

There is plenty of parking at the Crystal Ballroom, but if you are staying in one of our hotels, there will be shuttles running to and from the venue.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation is addressed:

"Your name & Guest" - then yes, you can bring a date. Because we are having a seated dinner, there are not extra seats available.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Yes! Please see the Travel section to point you in the right direction.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

April 5, 2023.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Yes.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Yes, we will have a plated meal with an open bar.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Yes - please specify any dietary restrictions on your RSVP card.

Where are you registered?

We are registered at Amazon, Crate & Barrel and Target.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Yes! All we ask is that when Courtney is walking down the aisle, that you put your phone away. Other than that, please use our hashtag #becomingabentley so we can see all of your photos!
