There are some of you out there who don't know Courtney or Andrew personally, so we will start with a brief bio about ourselves and then tell our story of meeting each other:Courtney is originally from Medina, Ohio and is the daughter of Kathy and Dave; she also has one sister named Kylie. After graduating from Medina High School, Courtney attended Illinois Wesleyan University where she majored in Political Science and Marketing. After college, Courtney traveled with CIY-Christ In Youth- all over the United States to put on shows for teens meant to engage them with a positive direction in Christ. She then spent some time in Greenville, SC and back to her mom's home in Columbus, OH before deciding to pursue her intentionality in her own faith by relocating to Denver, CO in order to serve others through the Episcopal Service Corps. Andrew is originally from Lexington, South Carolina and is the son of Robert and Cindy; he also has one sister named Ashley. After graduating from Lexington High School, Andrew attended the College of Charleston where he majored in Political Science and minored in History. After college, Andrew worked a few odd jobs around the Columbia area before ultimately deciding to take a leap of faith and serve others while attempting to strengthen his own faith through the Episcopal Service Corps in Denver, CO. Andrew and Courtney met, of course, when arriving in Denver, Colorado to start their year of service with the Colorado ESC program. They recognized how unconventional and, at times, inconvenient their blossoming romance could be; however, they continued to build their relationship while serving their respective organizations in Denver. Amidst occasional chaos that happened in Denver, Courtney and Andrew often found solace in chatting and spending time together on their favorite swing outside of the home the ESC program provided them. After learning that they were expecting a baby girl, with the help of family and friends in both Denver and back home, Courtney and Andrew relocated to Greenville, South Carolina to set up their home base since their families were mostly living in and around the area. In the months leading up to their baby girl's arrival, Andrew and Courtney's relationship strengthened as they found new jobs and developed new relationships with others in Greenville. Courtney and Andrew were overjoyed when Courtney gave birth to a 9 lbs 8 oz baby girl they named Eliza on August 14, 2016! After a little time to settle in after Eliza's birth, Andrew decided to heed the warnings of Beyonce and "put a ring on" Courtney on October 23, 2016 because he knew he had met the most amazing, beautiful, smart, and supportive woman he ever knew. They took a trip to Asheville, NC where Andrew asked Courtney to marry him along the Blue Ridge Parkway. We hope that you will join us on what will be one of the greatest day of our lives on April 22, 2017! We look forward to becoming husband and wife and continuing this amazing journey! Kylie (who shall be referred to as the "Person of Honor") is Courtney's older sister and best friend. After years of chagrining her existence, Kylie decided that Courtney was one cool cat and they schemed to live in the same city, Greenville, South Carolina. Kylie is married to Justin, also featured in this wedding party, and together they have the best dog ever, Larkin. He is truly the first grandchild. Kylie is a very significant member of this wedding party not only because she is Courtney's life boss, but because she and Justin allowed the bride and groom to stay with them when they first arrived in Greenville. Kylie is a caring and thoughtful person who gets S#*! done. Courtney counts on her advice or help for nearly everything and is not nearly grateful enough to her big sister. Fun Facts: Her photo is from her own wedding celebration in May of 2013. If hangry, supply her with Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.

Kylie Felker

Jann and Courtney have known each other for 16 years and counting. Courtney has always loved Jann's free spirit and love-giving attitude. However, this cannot be said the other way around (let's just say Jann was less than pleased with fourth-grade, cello-playing Courtney). Along with their other "hometown friends", Emily and Andrea, they spent years visiting one other in college all the while creating lifelong friendships. Jann encourages Courtney to be true to herself and can always be found among the flowers and trees. Fun Facts: Jann was a vicious gymnast for the entirety of her young life. She has a super cool dog named Ben. 

Jann Knappage

There is no shortage of fun to be had when Courtney and Andrea are together. From years of playing softball together to their long winded conversations about all things nerdy, Courtney and Andrea are partners in crime. It was easy to choose this wild-hearted person to be Eliza's godmother because of her intentionality with others and constant card-sending skills. She is a shining example of living life with purpose. Fun Facts: Andrea can craft the pants off any blogger, I would bet on her sewing, pasting, and creating skills any day. She is a wicked smart nurse with a Master's degree. 

Andrea Segulin

In Courtney's life, there are few more constant than Emily. In high school, while Courtney struggled with her deep and very dramatic emotions, Emily was there to sit in the car and listen. They served MHS as co-captains for the JV Volleyball team, which was no small accomplishment (they cried in the hallway together, NBD). Friends like Emily should be cherished and thanked for their years of support when needed. Emily, and her husband Johnny, have a Corgi named Yost, who is among the cutest Corgi's on Instagram. Fun Facts: Emily introduced Courtney to many of Youtube's greatest videos. She makes a mean pancake. 

Emily MacDowell

Kelsey and Courtney met during their first week of college at Illinois Wesleyan University at one of their "getting to know you" dorm meetings. Their friendship blossomed as Courtney admired her love of terrific music and strong faith. Kelsey is a hippie-hearted, California-livin' pastor's wife who loves and fights for people. She has no shortage of grace to give to others. Despite Courtney's attempt to steal the show at their wedding, Kelsey is married to Kyle, who dragged her skinny butt to California and took their cat Tempe with them. Fun Facts: Kelsey enjoys the strangest combinations of foods. She has the messiest bun ever. 

Kelsey Price

Morgan, who hates that I used this picture of her, is a recent  mom like Courtney. They met as travelling interns with Christ in Youth where Courtney played dress up for 3 months. Morgan loves all things silly and meaningful. She is a kind friend who desires to take care of others. Morgan is among the only people who can tell Courtney she is being outrageous without offending the bride deeply. She and her husband, Jordan, fell in love while they were all travelling interns. They have a little guy named Finn and a new baby named Liam. Fun Facts: Morgan has a love affair with Dr. Pepper (as all Oklahomans do). She does not drive big vehicles.

When life hands you a crazy story, go get a friend like Rachel. During the biggest upheaval of  her life, Courtney was able to go to the movies with Rachel, literally all the time. Rachel has a big heart for people and recently moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she is able to pursue her true self. Rachel is determined to do what is right and never shies away from a big thing. Courtney and she made a lot of delicious food together and bought a lot of DVD's from blockbuster. Fun Facts: Rachel loves strange costumes. She lived in Thailand for a very long summer.

Kate was forced to be Courtney's friend. After turning her down for coffee, Courtney was determined to befriend this wild ginger. Safe to say that it worked and the two can laugh about it now. Kate and Courtney are #EverydayFriends who are able to talk about almost anything (TV programs excluded because that's not really Kate's thing). Kate is always searching for a grand adventure and can crush the heck out of a volleyball. She is thoughtful and challenges others to live the best life. Fun Facts: Kate loves to throw a great party. She is a real life home DIY-er. 

Kate Smith

Ashley Watson is Andrew's "Groomslady" and only sister who holds a special place in Andrew's life. Ashley and Andrew bickered for many years, as most siblings do, but eventually came to appreciate one another through shared life experiences. One thing that stands out about Ashley is her undying loyalty to her family, as she has always been there for her big brother since their childhood. She is so loyal, in fact, that she would go out of her way to be a part of things like short movies, skits, lip-syncing to the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync, and a parody of the movie "Forrest Gump" that Andrew and his friends had put together. Andrew and Ashley share a sense of nonsensical humor and picking on poor old mom and pop when they say funny things or have senior moments. Ashley is currently finishing her Bachelor's Degree at the College of Charleston (establishing it as a new family tradition) and is determining where she will go to start her Master's Degree next year. She also is a world traveler, having been to places like Ecuador, South Africa and the UK.Fun facts: Ashley also shares an affinity for Kraft Mac and Cheese, loves Vanilla Ice Cream (or any ice cream in general), and really enjoys baking. 

Ashley Watson

Lukas Honeycutt is Andrew's Best Man in the wedding and one of Andrew's best friends. The two have known each other technically since they were in the same classes in middle school. However, the friendship really started when Lukas was invited to sit with a mutual friend and the group at lunch one day in high school and witnessed the infamous tomato duel between Andrew and Steven. Something about seeing two almost grown men throw tomatoes and a chicken sandwich at each other made Lukas want to hang out with Andrew more and they continued to bond and spend many hours at the Wells household, rapping in Andrew's spare room in his house, or just going to IHOP/Waffle House and cracking wise until the wee hours of the morning. Lukas and Andrew have also shared a bond through open discussion about ongoing issues in their lives, and Andrew considers himself lucky to have a friend like Lukas in his life. Fun Facts: Lukas is a bit of a metal and hip-hop head, and enjoys going to shows often in his free time. He and Andrew also share a fondness for shows like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Bob's Burgers, and South Park. 

Lukas Honeycutt

Josh Wells is another one of Andrew's best friends and the two have known each other since being introduced by their mutual friend, Aditya. The day that really started it all was when Andrew, Steven, Aditya, and Josh all met up at a local swim club where Andrew's family had a membership. After Andrew made a joke at Josh's expense, Josh proceeded to kick Andrew directly in the thigh, resulting in a dead leg. After school started a couple of days later, Andrew saw Josh and joked that his leg "still really hurt," and the two decided to hang out sometime after that. Josh and Andrew bonded over an affinity for hip-hop, and Josh introduced Andrew to Yelawolf, who remains one of his favorite artists to this day. Josh and Andrew also spent time discussing politics when hanging out and also shared a love for similar movies and TV shows. Andrew may share more inside jokes with Josh than anyone else, especially revolving around southern culture and the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" Fun Facts: Josh truly enjoys politics and philosophy more than anyone else Andrew knows, and spends much of his time reading books and articles on different subjects and individuals.

Josh Wells

Steven Dorrell is Andrew's oldest friend and the two technically first met when they were in preschool together. However, the two didn't officially start hanging out together until 9th grade, when Steven reminded Andrew that they had gone to preschool together and Andrew invited Steven over to watch the South Carolina game at his family's home. Although Steven had a bad experience with Andrew's mom's sausage dip that night, the two became fast friends and spent most days after school and on weekends hanging out together. Steven has always been one of the most ambitious, outgoing, and most encouraging people Andrew has known. He would always be there to push Andrew to "get swole" or at least to get out of the house, even when Andrew didn't always return the friendship Steven deserved. Although the two don't spend nearly as much time together as they used to, Andrew still holds fond memories of shooting videos, playing video games, doing stupid things around the neighborhood, and playing "nut-shot" in Steven's backyard. Fun Facts: When Steven isn't getting swole or patrolling the halls at Newberry College, he enjoys time with his girlfriend Rebecca and their dog Danger. 

Steven Dorrell

Delmar Johnson and Andrew Watson have known each other since high school, when a mutual friend of theirs introduced Delmar to Andrew and they both asked him to be a part of their comedy rap group, eventually known as The Multiracial Extravaganza. Though their friendship began on funny grounds, the two bonded over a love of sports, music, and figuring out how not to stay bored in a small town. Delmar has always been a great friend to Andrew, even in some of the lowest points in his life. He has always been a great example to Andrew on how to keep your head up and remain positive no matter what life throws your way.  Andrew still likes to think back to the times that Delmar would crush him on just about any sports video game without trying and shooting basketball in Andrew's driveway while joking about auditioning with the song "Hater Blockers" one day on American Idol.Fun Facts: Delmar is a fan of just about every sport in the book and loves the St. Louis Rams, the Florida State Seminoles, and Chelsea of the British Premier League. He also just proposed to his girlfriend Ann recently!

Delmar Johnson

Aditya Bhonsle and Andrew technically first met when they were in middle school, but didn't start hanging out much until their years in high school. Aditya, Josh, and Andrew always enjoyed a back-and-forth at each others' expense where the loving nicknames "Dynamite Nose," "Crooked-Nosed Bastard," and "Jungle Book Bastard" were all created for each other. Aditya and Andrew always bonded over a love of sports and video games, and Andrew could always count on Aditya for a pickup game of Basketball or Soccer when they were bored in the summers or during the school year. Andrew also spent literally everyday after school at Aditya's house senior year of high school to hang out and enjoy the delicious food that Aditya's parents left there, and luckily he didn't mind sharing with Andrew.  Andrew still reminisces about the great times they had in high school and the time the two of them continuously harassed Josh through text messages and calls, ending with Josh texting them a picture of his butt and his face clearly in view in his bathroom mirror.Fun Facts: Aditya is an avid soccer (or football, considering who you ask) fan, and is particularly fond of Manchester United.

Justin Felker is Courtney's brother-in-law, married to Kylie and is Eliza's uncle. He's a great, down to earth guy who invited Andrew and Courtney to stay with Kylie and him while they were looking for a place to stay in Greenville. He also goes out of his way to help out his family and friends whenever possible. Before Andrew was in the picture, he also provided Courtney with a place to catch up on her TV shows and "borrow" internet from her apartment across the street. Fun Facts: In his free time, Justin enjoys building furniture and has even sold some of it to those who have inquired.
