Hi Everyone,

We are less than 40 days away and couldn’t be more excited to share our day with you!

As things are now finalized we wanted to share the details and hopefully preemptively answer any questions you may have!

We have no special events planned outside of Wednesday, April 17th (the day of our wedding), so enjoy things the way you see fit. After all this is your vacation, too!

********If you have not already downloaded the Royal Caribbean app on your phone, it will be super useful to have while on board. You will be able to see the daily itinerary for events as well as a direct messaging feature that we can all use to easily get in touch with each other. Wi-fi is an additional fee and cell service in the middle of the ocean is pretty spotty/not there.********

Wednesday, April 17th:

10am Beach Ceremony-

Attire is beachwear, swimwear, casual. The exact ceremony location is starred on the map below. You can walk there or take the shuttle. It is a short distance from the ship's dock.

Following the ceremony we reserved 2 private cabanas at Chill Island (circled in red) which is adjacent to the ceremony. These will be our home base for the day and everyone is welcome to join us there. There is also a large beach chair section next to the cabanas. If you want to lockdown a spot we suggest getting there early. Otherwise the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

5pm-8pm Reception- Located on the 14th floor (the very top of the ship) at the venue Olive or Twist. It has beautiful panoramic views of the Caribbean. Attire is semi-formal. For reference, Dave will not be wearing a tie. So look nice and be prepared to party!

This event will be an open bar (thank you Lori and Stevie!) and there will be lots of food going around for everyone. Please keep in mind, the venue is not a large table formal sit down venue. Tables are smaller and unassigned with some being high tops. Bring your dancing shoes!

Other Info- We booked the 5:30 main dining time for dinners on the ship, and anyone who booked through Denise and did not request a different time is booked with our group. During this time, our tables will all be grouped together for dining throughout the week. Individual table configurations are out of our control, but requests can be made to the Royal Caribbean dining department. If you do not want the 5:30 dining, No Big Deal! Request whatever time works best for you!

Tips and Tricks for the Ship-

Useful things to pack:

Coffee Cup - If you like a mug of coffee, bring one that you can fill and walk around with.

Lanyard - On board you will need your sea pass card to do most things on the ship.

A magnet for your door- The doors all look the same. If you forget your cabin number, you can look for your magnet!

Call your cell company and check to see if you have Bahamas on your plan.

A small bag to keep day items in on departure day (sunscreen, bathing suit, hat). This will allow you to check bags at the terminal and they will bring them right to your state room. Regardless of boarding time, most staterooms are not available until around 2pm or 3pm.

Plug in nightlight, the rooms get D-A-R-K at night.

Things to leave at home:

Clothing iron- They will confiscate it when you board the ship

Alcohol- Royal Caribbean allows 21+ to bring ONE bottle of wine/champagne in their luggage per guest. The hard stuff, you can try your luck but they'll keep it if they find it.

Hair dryer - There is one in every cabin, however they are like a weak breeze.

Beach towels - These are provided on the pool deck and at the exit to go ashore - just remember to return (you check them in and out with your sea pass card)
