Our story goes back to 2015, a line cook and a pastry cook working opposite sides of a busy, popular restaurant called Ansons. Courtney was a newly graduate from the Culinary Institute of Charleston, and Joe was stepping into his first cooking job after transferring from Business School to Culinary Arts major. It didn’t take long for Joe to notice the cute girl across the line, and to get up the courage to ask for her number.
Since then, they have lived in three different big cities-Charleston, Atlanta, and Chicago, worked for some of the best restaurants in the world, and now have settled in Austin, TX.
