It all started with a boy named Lazer. Courtney and Lazer spent numerous late nights at UA&nbsp;Hangout then would go back to the apartment and Skype with Lazer's friend Sawyer while Sawyer was working nights monitoring alarm systems in&nbsp;Tallahassee. After numerous Skype sessions,&nbsp; Sawyer and Courtney both had the feeling that something special could happen between them.

After Sawyer graduated from FSU(Go Noles!), he got a great job and moved to Tampa where he lived with Dr. Conan. At the same time, Courtney had just moved out of her apartment with Kasey and Brit and was living with a friend. On Cinco de mayo in 2009, Sawyer and Courtney stayed up all night through sunrise talking at the pool. For Courtney, this is exactly when she knew.&nbsp;

They couldn't escape each other. For both of them, their favorite bar was Coppertop so they constantly ran into each other and &nbsp;loved every minute of it.&nbsp;Even though they were both seeing other people, Courtney and Sawyer decided to break those relationships off around&nbsp;October of&nbsp;2009 and started dating. Two months later,&nbsp;Courtney completely moved in with Sawyer and Conan at their apartment in Temple Terrace. The rest is really history. They have lived together ever since with their most favorite pup son Murphy.&nbsp;



On April 20th, 2017, Sawyer woke up and decided it was time to propose. He told his boss he needed to leave early that day and&nbsp;picked up an engagement ring. That night, in their kitchen, Sawyer got down on one knee, said some of the sweetest things(which we can't repeat so we don't ruin his street cred)&nbsp;and asked Courtney to spend the rest of their lives together. Spoiler alert: she said yes.&nbsp;



2017 was a&nbsp;very exciting, trying and eventful&nbsp;year for the couple. They got a taste of the "through sickness and health" and although it was scary, everything brought Courtney and Sawyer so much closer together.&nbsp;&nbsp;

 

We are sooooo ready to go to Vegas and celebrate our love with people we&nbsp;absolutely adore and are so thankful for.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thank you all for your love and support along our journey individually and together. We love you!!!&nbsp;

Courtney and Jess met about 7 years ago working together at Olive Garden. Even when slinging unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks, Jess was always full of laughs and fun.&nbsp;Jess is the most honest and genuine person I have ever met. Not only does she have the biggest heart, she is an amazing friend to both the bride and the groom. I&nbsp;am so happy to have her standing next to me on our big day!

Friends since middle school, Conan and Sawyer are closer than ever nowadays. Between football games, boat rides or working on their Jeeps, these two are&nbsp;brothers.&nbsp;

Plus, he's a doctor and who wouldn't want a doctor by their side on&nbsp;their wedding day?

Britt and Courtney are each other's person. She's the Yang to my Grey or visa versa.&nbsp;Through all the good and all the bad, Britt will forever be the person that I&nbsp;can be horribly honest to and receive no judgment. It might be a little awkward seeing as Britt was Sawyer's first girlfriend back in elementary school, but we'll make it work.&nbsp;

Friends through high school and roommates through college, Matt and Sawyer have always made each other laugh. Through good times and bad, thick and thin, these two are best friends and will remain friends for life. If you lose Matt in Vegas, go to the High Roller tables and he will be there with a Vespa martini in his hand.

My longest, truest friend. Kas and Court have known each other since 2nd grade and will be best friends forever no matter what. We are each other's family and have been through it all together. My ride or die.&nbsp;

Danny is one of a kind. He has the biggest and best heart and there is never a dull moment around him. He would give you the shirt off of his back and both Courtney and Sawyer are thrilled to have him there on their big day. He's the smartest man in the history of men.&nbsp;

No one has ever made me belly laugh as much as this lady. We only met a few years ago, but Leela is one of Courtney's most cherished best friends. She has the most adorable baby boy who I&nbsp;love too much and she is way too intelligent to be hanging out with the likes of us! Leela and Sawyer have known each other since kindergarten but I&nbsp;stole her and she's my friend now.&nbsp;

Kyle is Sawyer's oldest and most&nbsp;dear friend. He is an incredibly hard working&nbsp;father to two beautiful kids and a great husband to an amazing woman. We are so incredibly happy and honored to have Kyle by our sides on this important day.&nbsp;He also carries the secret identity of Spider Man.

Jo came into our lives about 2 years ago. We met working at First Watch together and have become very&nbsp;close friends. She is such a caring person and continuously puts others needs over her own. Jo is my favorite person to drink Titos with and Murphy's favorite walker!

Heather Lynn is just the&nbsp;absolute best lady around. She has been a best&nbsp;friend of Courtney’s since second grade and they have been friends through&nbsp;all the craziness! Heather is a mama to 3 beautiful children and although she and Courtney live far from each other, every time they talk it is like no time has passed. So honored to have her in the wedding!!!

The bride and groom will be staying at The Luxor. We have decided not to go forward with room blocks because it would be significantly more expensive for our guests that way. Trust me, I did a bunch of research on this and neither travel agents or booking coordinators in Vegas could come up with a cheaper price!&nbsp;

&nbsp;We booked our hotel using <a href="http://www.hotels.com">www.hotels.com</a>&nbsp;and we would recommend you using a site like that to book yours in order to get the best deal. Many sites like <a href="http://www.expedia.com">www.expedia.com</a>&nbsp;or <a href="http://www.southwest.com">www.southwest.com</a>&nbsp;do bulk packages for flight and hotel included.&nbsp;Please do not feel pressured to stay at The Mirage, it was just our personal choice.&nbsp;

The Strip is a lot longer than it looks on maps, so just be aware of that when booking a hotel! The closest hotels to The Luxor are ExCalibur and Mandalay Bay.&nbsp;Best of luck in your searching!

For those that have been to Vegas, you know how long the Strip is. From everyone we have spoken to, renting a car is NOT the way to go since parking it so expensive. Please download Uber or Lyft onto your phone before you get to Vegas as that is the preferred method of transportation in Vegas! On the day of the wedding, we will provide transportation from our hotel, The Mirage, to the wedding chapel and back for all of our guests. More details of that will come once we get a bit closer!

This is where the wedding will go down!!! Please be aware that this is a Vegas style Elvis wedding and nothing super formal. We will be one of many excited couples getting married that day and we look forward to all of the corny and cheesy aspects of our wedding. The whole point of having an elopement in Vegas is so that we can laugh and dance during the ceremony so wear your dancing shoes!&nbsp;Be ready to have a great time! The ceremony is at 6:00pm and we will provide transportation to and from the ceremony site. More details will come when we are closer!!
