We joke that it only took us '8 seconds' to fall in love. This is because we met at the University of Florida at a country bar called 8 seconds. Courtney was there for her clinical year of veterinary school. While, Dustin was attending UF after eight years in the Marine Corps.

Being a vet student, it was a given that Courtney came with a plus 1. Her sweet island pup, Luana, who instantly became Dustin's new best friend. Shortly there after, Courtney offered to foster a sweet pitbull, named Kekoa. Dustin quickly learned a few months later what a "foster fail" was. And so our first Christmas together, we "officially" became paw-rents! Lu and Keeks are inseparable and we're a family of 4.

Courtney graduates Veterinary School and we move to South Florida. We also do a-lot of traveling together including Hawaii, Boston, Kentucky, and the Keys!

Dustin is hard at work in the police academy and Courtney has started her new career as a veterinarian. COVID strikes and we quarantine together in our new home!

Dustin graduates the police academy and is hired as a Martin County Sheriff Deputy. We celebrate 3 years together and discover our love for the Florida Panthers and Theme Parks!
