On one cold winter night, the Husky Marching Band was headed to a game and the last seat on the bus was next to Collin. Courtney was the last person to get on the bus so she sat next to Collin. Other band members told Collin that they hadn’t heard me laugh or see me smile like that. Courtney first noticed Collin on the bus but specifically during band practice one day when he was laughing and having a great time with other band members. This sparked Courtney’s attention. Collin first noticed Courtney when …. Our good friends Emily Menz (bridesmaid) and Matt Lockwood (best man) came together to get a plan for match making. One day Matt took Collin out for lunch and at the end said “you know why we are here.” ;) Collin then asked Courtney out on a date and they went to cafe on the ave. They talked for 6 hours and closed the place down. The rest is history! During the covid 2020 lockdown, Collin moved in with the Porter's and Cass, Courtney and Collin were at the Redmond UW campus for spring quarter.
