Please dress in "smart casual" attire. Please do not wear ripped jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, or sweats.

Why yes, the reception is in a barn, but good news! It is heated and the thermostat is set to 70 degrees.

There are many hotels in the area, but our wedding is the same weekend that Penn State plays Ohio State football. Hotels will be very pricey. If you need a place to stay, we highly recommend checking out local Air B&Bs or cabins at Prince Gallitzin State Park.

The reception will be catered by 12Eleven Catering. We are having some smoked turkey and brisket for the main entrees. Sides will include strawberry salad, bacon mac and cheese, and roasted potatoes.

We already have pretty much all that we need in our home. Hence, there will also not be a bridal shower. Cash gifts are always welcome. The Knot does take a small percentage of your gift if you give online.

You betcha! We will be leaving in the very early morning (0400 to be exact) after our wedding for Costa Rica!

There will be oak slabs at the reception. We would love for our guests to sign them, especially with some family friendly words of wisdom or advice. We will have a Bible available as well, if you would like to put a verse there for us too. These slabs will then be put together, covered with epoxy and made into our dining room table. We will have our guests and your words to share with our family for years to come.
