Our Wedding

Courtney and Colton first met in February 2018 at Shiner Park in College Station. They were introduced by a mutual friend from Courtney's hometown (Fort Worth) who happened to be in Colton’s corps outfit (E-1 Jocks). Fun fact: They have a Snapchat video from the night they met! After chatting briefly, they went their separate ways and didn’t reconnect until September 2018.&nbsp;Once again, a mutual friend got involved and said Courtney and Colton would be perfect for each other. Colton reached out to Courtney and invited her to Midnight Yell, a Texas A&amp;M tradition where his corps outfit participated on the field. From that night on, they were inseparable, spending nearly every day together. During college, Colton lived in the corps dorms, and Courtney lived in her sorority house. They spent most of their time in study rooms, with Courtney focused on schoolwork and Colton keeping things lively. Colton became the self-proclaimed “First Man of Delta Zeta,” always helping with Courtney’s sorority events. Together, they cheered at A&amp;M football games, attended date parties, and celebrated earning their Aggie rings. After graduating in May 2020, Courtney moved back to Fort Worth while Colton stayed in College Station to earn his master’s degree. They navigated long-distance by trading weekends between the two cities. During this time, Colton found their cat, Tinker Belle, in a greenhouse—she’s been a part of their story ever since! Once Colton finished grad school, he joined Courtney in Fort Worth. In August 2022, they began renovating their first home together. From scraping popcorn ceilings to laying new floors, painting walls, and remodeling bathrooms, they spent countless hours renovating every inch of the house themselves (with a little help from family and friends). In August 2023, Colton proposed during a Stack/Ploch family cruise. After hiding the ring in his sock through dinner, Colton popped the question at the front of the ship. Both sets of parents were there to celebrate. It was the perfect beginning to the next chapter of their lives together.
