Courtney and Tyler met their first week on campus at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). They quickly became friends and would often go on walks around campus looking for class locations, the best dining halls, or just to sit on the quad. Not long after that they began dating — on November 20, 2020.




Over the next few years of college, they enjoyed going to football games, concerts, and visiting each others families. They helped each other through each semester and even ended up graduating with the same degree in accounting. During their senior year of college, they adopted a dog together, Goose, got their first jobs, and they got engaged on October 28, 2023.




Courtney and Tyler agree that the best part of their relationship is their shared faith in Jesus Christ and being able to grow their relationship with Him as well as their relationship together. They make each other laugh and have a shared, albeit weird, sense of humor.
