A tale as old as time, a Shawville boy and a Quyon girl – it's a story that's been whispered in the winds of the Pontiac for generations. Among those swept up in this timeless romance are us, David and Courtney, who first crossed paths in the hallowed halls of Pontiac High School.

Life, as it often does, led us on separate adventures after that. But the Pontiac has a funny way of bringing people back together, even after years of crisscrossing paths at hometown happenings. It wasn't until 2022 that fate intervened, and we found ourselves reconnecting. As we caught up, we realized just how much we had in common, from our shared values to our mutual love for our roots.

With Courtney's return from Toronto, our story took a new turn. We embarked on a new journey together, blending our lives and forming a family with David's son, Lucas. Soon we were creating new memories together and becoming closer every day.

8 months later in December 2022, David took Courtney by surprise and popped the question, asking her to spend forever by his side. Like they say - when you know, you know! Following the easiest “yes” ever, we spent the holidays celebrating with our families.

From our earliest days living together in Aylmer to relocating to our current home in Arnprior, every step of our journey has been filled with belly laughs & support.

So here's to love, laughter, and happily ever afters—may our tale continue to unfold in the most unexpected and joyous ways imaginable.
